Using photogrammetry to perform deflection, deformation or buckling measurements in test models (beams, columns, trusses, frames, other model structures) in Mechanics style experiments. One or more digital images of the experiment setup are taken using a digital camera or other digital image capturing device, and the image is processed to obtain co-ordinates of selected points on the desired elements or structure under test. |
