<p>A waterproof and dustproof structure for a joint section of an industrial robot. The structure is low in cost and does not affect the kinematic performance of the robot. The manipulator robot has cable passage holes formed in a part of the outer periphery of a manipulator and also has cables arranged through the cable holes, on the inner and outer sides the manipulator. A mold guide (7) surrounding the outer periphery of one or more cables placed inside the cable passage holes is installed near the cable passage holes (4a, 4b). A mold treated section (8) is formed by mold-treating the inner side of the mold guide by filling it with resin. A sealing material (14) is placed on the outer side of the mold guide.</p>
