The active-dynamic seat (1) has a body (2) made of foam with a seating surface (5) on its top. It has a support face (6) on the underside of the body. The foam has a support core (3) cast into the foam and made of a harder material than the foam. The support core can be spaced from the seating or support faces of the foam body. The seat body can be rotationally symmetrical.
