PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device that has improved operability for a user in receiving the user's operation that is suitable and related to a plurality of items having a hierarchical structure when a limited display area is used.SOLUTION: A display control device comprises: display control means that controls to display a plurality of items in a first hierarchy in a first area and a second area; and reception means that receives a selection instruction to select any one of the items in the first hierarchy. In response to the selection of the item in the first hierarchy, when the selected item is displayed in the first area, the display control means controls to display an item in a second hierarchy related to the selected item in the second area while maintaining displaying any one of the items in the first hierarchy in the first area; and when the selected item is displayed in the second area, controls to display the item in the second hierarchy in the first area while maintaining displaying any one of the items in the second hierarchy in the second area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
