PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored resin particle emulsion with high color tone, excellent color expression ability, color printability and ink discharge properties on inkjet printing, as a colored solid-liquid dispersion in which superfine colored resin particles colored by including an oil-soluble dye used in ink, a coating material and a cosmetic, and to provide a convenient process for producing the same. SOLUTION: This colored resin fine particle emulsion excellent in color expression ability is a solid-liquid dispersion dispersed in a concentration of 20-50% in terms of volume with≤1% transmittance of light of 750 nm wavelength and≤1.5% Hunter whiteness (HW), where the colored resin fine particle is colored by including an oil-soluble dye in an uncolored resin fine particle, being a precursor of the colored resin fine particle, which has an average particle size in the range of 10-70 nm, and its emulsion with dispersion concentration of 30% in terms of volume-based concentration has≥75% transmittance of visible light of 750 nm wavelength and≤15% Hunter whiteness (HW).
