The invention relates to a device for guiding a laser beam for processing a workpiece, comprising a mirror arrangement with moveable mirrors for generating a working angle of the laser beam on a focussing optics for setting a lateral offset of a laser beam on a workpiece and for generating a lateral offset of the laser beam on the focussing optics for setting an angle of impact of the laser beam on the workpiece. It is thus provided that an optical arrangement for beam broadening and for the variable setting of the focus distance of the laser beam is arranged between the mirror arrangement and the focussing optics. The invention further relates to a corresponding method for guiding a laser beam. The device and the method enable a quick and dynamic movement of a laser beam for processing a workpiece.
