<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier capable of exerting an excellent function in terms of humidification capability and hygiene. <P>SOLUTION: A water spray chamber 2, a humidification member 3, and a blast means 4 are housed in a humidifier body 1. The humidifier body 1 is provided with an air passage 13 communicating with a suction opening 11 and an outlet 12. The spray chamber 2 is disposed in the humidifier body 1, and structured so as to supply water downward. The humidification member 3 is disposed in the air passage 13 below the spray chamber 2 and is so structured as to absorb water supplied from the spray chamber 2 and to pass air flowing through the air passage 13. The blast means 4 is so structured as to introduce the air into the air passage 13 from the suction opening 11 to humidify it by passing it through the humidification member 3 and thereafter exhaust it from the outlet 12. The humidification member 3 is disposed by tilting it so as to gradually separate its upper side from a vertical surface.
