PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing utensil in a simple structure, that is excellent in assembling property and can obtain a stable retracting action and is fitted with a crown at the rear end of the barrel.SOLUTION: In the writing utensil that has a retracting mechanism capable of projecting the writing tip of the writing body from the tip opening of the barrel by sliding a clip arranged in the barrel, a sliding groove that extends in the longitudinal direction with the rear end opened is formed at the rear end of the barrel, the leg part of the clip is arranged in the sliding groove so as to slide, and the crown is fitted to the rear end of the barrel by allowing an engaged part provided in the sliding groove to be engaged with the engaging part provided to the crown. |
