摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and smoothly perform a connection work between an insulated electric wire that is an object to be tested and a voltage application electric wire w.SOLUTION: Terminal connection jigs 10 are fitted with terminals of insulated electric wires p1, p2 and p3 extracted from each arranged drum D. A predetermined voltage is applied to the insulated electric wires of each drum via voltage application electric wires W and terminal connection jigs 10, by a power supply device E. When dielectric breakdown occurs between the insulated electric wires in the drum, the dielectric breakdown is detected by a voltmeter V. Each terminal connection jig consists of: a vinyl chloride cap 11; a steel wool 12 loaded in the cap; and a lead wire w led from the wool to the exterior. The cap is fitted with the terminal of the insulated electric wire from its opening, and thereby, the steel wool is compressed and contacted with a conductor 2 of the insulated electric wire. Due to this connection jig, by only fitting it with the terminal of the insulated electric wire, a desired voltage can be applied to the conductor of the insulated electric wire, and therefore, a connection work between the insulated electric wire and the voltage application line can be easily and smoothly performed, and a good workability can be obtained.
