PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute multi-shot synthesis for obtaining a composite image by synthesizing multiple images, captured in time series.SOLUTION: An imaging device has an imaging unit for capturing multiple images in time series, a setting unit for setting any one of the multiple images as a reference image, and setting other images as comparison images, a reference map generation unit for generating a reference map by performing block division of the reference image, a comparison map generation unit for generating a comparison map by performing block division of the comparison image, a change detection map generation unit for generating a change detection map representing match or mismatch of the reference map and comparison map, in units of block, by performing comparison operation of the reference map and comparison map, in units of block, an image synthesis unit for obtaining a composite image by synthesizing multiple images, and an image replacement unit for replacing at least a part of the composite image by the reference image, based on the change detection map.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
