PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption in a semiconductor device in which a plurality of light receiving elements are provided for a plurality of pixels, respectively, which compose a solid state image pickup element.SOLUTION: In a pixel PE having photodiodes PD1, PD2, a transfer transistor TX1 for reading charge in the photodiode PD1 to a floating diffusion capacity part FD and a transfer transistor TX2 for combining and reading charge of the photodiodes PD1, PD2 to the floating diffusion capacity part FD are provided. This reduces power required for a start-up operation of the transfer transistor in an operation such as imaging by using a solid state image pickup element. |
