PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a management system by proposing a system for storing containers enclosing medicines such as ampules and vials in a medicine storage cabinet in an aligned state and managing the putout to discarding of the medicines stored in the medicine storage cabinet altogether, which is a technique relating to an apparatus and a system for handling the containers enclosing the medicines such as the ampules and the vials. SOLUTION: The medicine management system comprises: the medicine container aligning apparatus 11 for attaching identification tags 15 (IC tags) to the containers 10 enclosing the medicines, matching the direction and aligning the containers 10 on a tray 13; the medicine storage cabinet 80 housing the medicines for which the identification tags 15 are attached to the containers; a waste collection container 88 for discarding the containers 10 and packages of the medicines taken out from the medicine storage cabinet 80 and used; and a management server 75 connected to the medicine container aligning apparatus 11, the medicine storage cabinet 80 and the waste collection container 88.
