<p>The procedure for cutting rotation symmetrical ammunition body, which is filled or unfilled and consists of metal or plastic, comprises wrapping-around a rotary propelled rotation symmetrical ammunition body by three supporting bodies in correlation of an opposed cutting edge unit supporting around 180[deg] , over which a cutting blade is brought in a separate position, separating the ammunition body into two axially limited sections, and bringing the cutting blade to the radial contour of the ammunition body only penetrating to its mantle in an active connection. The procedure for cutting rotation symmetrical ammunition body, which is filled or unfilled and consists of metal or plastic, comprises wrapping-around a rotary propelled rotation symmetrical ammunition body by three supporting bodies in correlation of an opposed cutting edge unit supporting around 180[deg] , over which a cutting blade is brought into a separate position, separating the ammunition body into two axially limited sections, bringing the cutting blade to the radial contour of the ammunition body only penetrating to its mantle in an active connection, carrying the ammunition body for the protection of large deformations in supporting rollers of the cutting edge unit formed as smooth mantle rollers, contactlessly determining the penetration depth of the cutting blade during the cutting process, transmitlessly carrying out the cutting process in a coordinated ratio of the rotational speed, cutting pressures and the cutting depth in co-operation with a measuring device, and producing the cutting pressure of the cutting blade by a constantly working pneumatic cylinder with variable strength. An independent claim is included for a device for cutting rotation symmetrical ammunition body made of metal or plastic with a base frame carrying a floating bed.</p> |
