PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorption conveyance device and an adsorption conveyance method capable of quickly resolving an abnormality even when the abnormality such as wrinkles occurs in a web conveyed by a conveyance part.SOLUTION: An adsorption conveyance device 20 for conveying a belt-like web W comprises a conveyance part 22 which conveys the web W, an adsorption part 24 which adsorbs the web W to the conveyance part 22, and a web detection part 39 which detects whether or not an abnormality occurs in the web W conveyed by the conveyance part 22. When the web detection part 39 detects that the abnormality occurs in the web W conveyed by the conveyance part 22, adsorption of the web W to the conveyance part 22 by the adsorption part 24 is stopped, and adsorption of the web W to the conveyance part 22 by the adsorption part 24 is resumed after the elapse of the predetermined time set in advance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
