PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer device which has a structure that allows to determine whether or not printing is performed on the basis of the position of an opening/closing arm.SOLUTION: The printer device includes: a print head for performing printing on recording paper; an opening/closing arm supported to be movable by rotating centering around the arm rotating axis relative to a frame; a platen roller held in contact with the frame and the opening/closing arm; and first biasing spring provided between the frame and the print head and pressing the print head to the platen roller side; and a second biasing spring in contact with the frame and the opening/closing arm and turning the platen roller to the print head side. When the platen roller is not held, the opening/closing arm is in a third state that is a state of being shifted from a first state, in which the platen roller is held, to a second state in which the opening/closing arm is moved so as to allow the platen roller to be taken out. |
