PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair-drier, for example, for professional use, in which pressure loss due to wind tunnel is lessened, rotation frequency is not raised, the outer diameter of a fan is not enlarged and constant volume of strong air is generated. SOLUTION: In a hair-drier which is equipped with a housing 2 which has an approximately cylinder-like wind tunnel section 3, a fan 6 mounted in a wind tunnel section 3, a motor 7 for rotating the fan 6 and a heater 5, the fan 6 is a centrifugal type fan and has a rotating shaft, a disk which is approximately vertical to the rotating shaft and a plurality of vanes which are approximately vertical to the disk and curved in the predetermined orientations from the radiating directions around a center of the rotating shaft, then, the inner diameter of an air outlet 9 of the wind tunnel section 3 of the housing 2 is set to D2 and value of D1/D2 is set to 1.0 or more and 1.45 or less.
