<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera with which proper photographing can be easily performed in a scene with a great luminance difference. <P>SOLUTION: The camera includes an exposure arithmetic section and a correction arithmetic section. The exposure arithmetic section obtains a plurality of photometry values of an object in a photographed image to obtain an exposure value with respect to the photographed image.
