PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To authenticate a portable communication terminal equipped with a camera easily and associate the portable communication terminal with a fixed terminal of a video telephone.SOLUTION: A face image of a user A of a video telephone is registered in advance in a server 10 as an authentication image. When the server 10 receives an authentication mode start instruction from the user A (S11), the server 10 causes a frame border to be displayed on a video telephone screen of both fixed terminals (S12). The user A is positioned such that the face image of the user A is displayed within the frame border of the screen of the fixed terminal 20. When the user B captures an image within the frame border of the screen of the fixed terminal 20 with a camera of a portable telephone 30 (S13) and transmits the captured image to the server 10, the server 10 compares the received image with the authentication image (S14). When the received image and the authentication image agree, the server 10 makes a notification to that effect to the portable telephone 30, and associates the portable terminal 30 with the fixed terminal 20. After that, moving images and the like transmitted from the portable telephone 30 are superimposed on moving images transmitted from the fixed terminal 20 and distributed (S15). |
