PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing hyaluronic acid by cultivating, with lactobacilli, a medium using sugar abundantly contained in food materials as a carbon source, and to further provide hyaluronic acid, and food and drink and a composition containing hyaluronic acid.SOLUTION: The method for producing hyaluronic acid is characterized by cultivating lactobacilli that has capability of assimilating fructose to produce hyaluronic acid. |
