OPTICAL TRANSMISSION DEVICE, AUTOMATIC OPTICAL CONNECTION METHOD AND AUTOMATIC OPTICAL CONNECTION PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission device, an automatic connection method and an automatic optical connection program which can obtain whether the result of automatic connection is good or bad.

SOLUTION: This optical transmission device having an optical switch is provided with: a means for acquiring card information including identification information for specifying an interface (I/F) card and input-output port information showing information about an input-output port belonging to the I/F card from a mounted I/F card; a means for preparing connection input/output port information showing a status in which connection should be performed between an input port and an output port of the mounted I/F card on the basis of the acquired card information and predetermined connectable input/output port information showing a connectable status between the input port and output port of the I/F card; and a means for controlling an optical switch so as to follow the connectable input/output port information on the basis of the prepared connection input/output port information and input/output port connection information showing a connection relation between input/output ports of the connected optical switch and the input/output ports of the I/F card.
