This disclosure is related to an INK SHUTTER that is completely different from those currently available on the market, thanks to novel formulations that are used to create such shutter with improved flexibility, durability, frictional resistance and crystallization properties. The INK SHUTTER consists of SOLID RUBBER PIECES (1) (figures 1 AND 2), a LIQUID RUBBER (3) (Figure 4) and a POROUS ABSORBENT TEXTILE (2) (Figures 3 and 4) joined together by a vulcanizing process where the POROUS ABSORBENT TEXTILE (2) (Figures 3 and 4) is impregnated with a friction-resistant LUBRICANT (4). The SOLID RUBBER (1) (Fig. 1 and 2) provides flexibility and durability characteristics. The POROUS ABSORBENT TEXTILE (2) (Figures 3 and 4) prevents the flexographic printing roller from wearing and the LIQUID RUBBER (3) (Figure 4) allows the SOLID RUBBER (1) (Fig. 1 and 2) and the POROUS ABSORBENT TEXTILE (2) (Figures 3 and 4) to stick tightly together in the vulcanizing process to form an undetachable sing le piece. The LUBRICANT (4) prevents the flexographic printing roller from wearing off, and the INK SHUTTER itself from crystallizing. |
