<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus prevented transfer slippage from being generated by pulling the rear edge, which becomes free, of a transfer material in the front edge direction, in taking off the rear edge from a feeding roller by distortion in the pulling direction accumulated in the transfer material between a fixing means and a feeding roller. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus having the feeding roller for feeding the transfer material toward a photoreceptor in response to a position of a toner image formed on the photoreceptor and the fixing means for fixing the toner image to the transfer material, it has a control means constituted so that feeding power of the fixing means becomes stronger than that of the feeding roller, for transmitting the transfer material by the feeding roller after setting first feeding speed higher than that of the feeding roller in the fixing means and for setting second feeding speed lower than that of the feeding roller in the fixing means before the rear edge of the transmitted transfer material passes through the feeding roller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
