PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave power generation device capable of attaining high electrical power by moving up or down a float with coming waves.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a wave power generation device in which an electric generator 4, a float 5 moving up and down under action of waves and a power transmission device 7 for converting power to move up or down the float 5 into a rotating force of a rotary shaft 4a of the electric generator 4 are installed on a floating stand 3 floating on water surface. A vertical rail 11 is fixed to a wave striking wall 9 receiving wave generated by the floating stand 3, the float 5 moved up and down by wave struck against the wave striking wall 9 is supported by the vertical rail 11, and an operating lever 33 for the power transmission device 7 is protruded upwardly at the float 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
