<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a platinum nano catalyst carried on a carbon nanotube. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a platinum catalyst is composed of a pretreatment stage for removing impurities by treating with a hydrochloric acid solution and a mixture solution of sulfuric acid and nitric acid after thermal treatment of a carbon nanotube and substituting oxidized group on the surface of carbon nanotube, a vaporization stage for using methyl trimethyl cyclopentadienyl platinum as a platinum precursor and vaporizing by heating this in a carburetor at a temperature of 60-80°C, and a carrying stage for installing the carbon nanotube in a reactor, increasing the temperature in the reactor by simultaneously flowing nitrogen and additional oxygen heated with the temperature of 60-80°C through the carburetor and carrying the platinum particles on the surface of carbon nanotube. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
