<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical routing device for reducing the number of destinations to be checked by one optical routing device and the number of photoelectric converters required for recognizing labels. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical routing device 100, an optical burst signal 160 in which a plurality of labels 162-164 including destination information are separated temporally is input into one part of an optical signal. The optical burst signal 160 is transferred to a path corresponding to one label destination information among the plurality of labels 162-164 for each burst. The device 100 is provided with an optical burst signal start detecting circuit 102 for detecting the start of the optical burst signal 160; an optical label identifying circuit 105 for recognizing destination information included in one label of the plurality of labels 162-164, when a predetermined time elapses after detection of the optical burst signal 160; and an optical switch route setting circuit 106 for selecting and connecting a route in accordance with the recognized destination information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
