<p>The high temperature sealing gasket (1) for sealing pipe joints in flue gas systems of internal combustion engines, comprises radially overlapping layers from coiled mica web material, which has expendable mica at high temperatures and which is impregnated with a binding agent, which has an another binding agent. The sealing gasket is formed as sealing ring. The high temperature sealing is highly compressed. A reinforcing material having a metal foil is simultaneously intended in the winding composites.
