TOOL FOR LAMINATING METAL FOIL AND POLYMER FILM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING LAMINATE STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for laminating a metal foil and a polymer film under a high temperature.

SOLUTION: The tool serves for laminating the metal foil and the polymer film so as to form a laminated structure. A tool 10 laminates a metal foil 23 and a polymer film 25. The tool 10 has a pair of platens 11, too. Each platen 11 has a sealing surface 12. A laminated structure 20 (optionally including a contraction isolator 27) is arranged in an open cavity 19 precedent to the operation of the tool 10, specifically the platen 11. The paired platens 11 move toward each other so that the cavity 19 may be closed between the sealing surface 12, when pressure is applied by a vacuum hydraulic press. The cavity 19 is closed completely and sealed and the cavity itself is pressurized, when a sufficient pressure is applied.
