PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a simple coordinate input device by which a scroll operation, etc. is easily performed without increasing the number of components. SOLUTION: A wheel 5 for scroll operation by which vertical scroll and horizontal scroll are mutually switched is mounted between a left click button 3 and a right click button 4 of a mouse 1 and a part of the wheel 5 is exposed to the surface of a case 2. Switching of the vertical/horizontal scroll of the wheel 5 is performed based on double click of the right click button 4. Specifically, when a depression operation of the left click button 3 is not performed within set time after a depression operation of the right click button 4 is performed and the depressing operation of the right click button 4 is performed again, it is decided that the double click of the right click button 4 is performed and the vertical/horizontal scroll is switched.
