PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder head capable of reducing weight of a cylinder head body by making a boss part of the cylinder head body a separate component by a spacer, and of improving coaxiality and circularity of a camshaft by inhibiting a bend of cam housing fastened in the cylinder head. SOLUTION: In the cam housing separate type cylinder head having the boss part for fixing the cam housing formed on the cylinder head body 1 and having the cam housing fastened on the cylinder head body 1 by a plurality of bolts via the boss part, a pedestal 11 on which the spacer 4 of predetermined length is mounted in stead of the boss part is formed on the boss part, and the cam housing is fastened on the cylinder head body 1 via the spacer 4 mounted on the pedestal 11 by the bolts.
