PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-accuracy ink amount adjustment technique, involving less time and effort for printing and for the colorimetry of patches. SOLUTION: A recording amount set for patches on lattice points which cover the whole space of a recording rate is preacquired and a plurality of patches, based on the recording amount set for patches, are printed. Since the recording amount set, specified in a plurality of pieces of large, middle, small sorting standard machine data, is included in an area where the lattice points are distributed, the recording amount set for patches coincident with or approximating the recording amount set is present; and the colorimetric value of the patches printed, based on the recording amount set for patches, is acquired as object colorimetric value.
