An industrial robot safety control system based on a delay response, a backup safety circuit and a safety module. The safety module comprises a first safety circuit (12) and a second safety circuit. The first safety circuit (12) and the second safety circuit simultaneously receive a warning signal. The first safety circuit (12) is used for responding to the warning signal in real time. The second safety circuit comprises a time delay system (14) and an event responding circuit (15). The time delay system (14) is used for performing time delay after receiving the warning signal, and if the time delay system (14) does not receive, within a delayed time, a first control signal representing that the first safety circuit (12) responds to the warning signal, the time delay system (14) controls the event responding circuit to respond to the warning signal. By using the circuit, the problem of a homogeneity failure in a backup safety mechanism can be prevented. |
