PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for a shift lever device capable of communizing a collar while sufficiently positioning a shift lever. SOLUTION: A base plate 4 of a shift lever device 2 is arranged on a floor panel 1 of a vehicle body, a cylindrical collar 10 is fitted in a base side fitting hole (9a1) of a base plate 4, and the base plate 4 is mounted on the floor panel 1 by a fixing bolt 13 passing through the collar 10 and the floor panel 1. In addition, positioning projecting parts 6, 6 are formed on an inner surface of the base side fitting hole (9a1), and a positioning cutout 11 for engaging the positioning projecting parts 6, 6 is formed in the collar 10.
