PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device capable of enhancing safety.SOLUTION: A communication device of the present disclosure comprises: a transmission unit for supplying a first data signal to a light-emitting unit that transmits a light signal; a connection detection unit for detecting connection with a communication opposite party by using a first electric signal; and a control unit for stopping light-emitting operation at the light-emitting unit on the basis of a detection result at the connection detection unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
