摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptical device which can compatibly eliminates a writing deficiency of image data and lowers power consumption, and to provide an electric apparatus. SOLUTION: Only when a scan line y12 where a sub-pixel 37W of W (white) is not connected is selected during supply of the image data on a line reversal drive basis, a preselect voltage is supplied, at the same time, even to a scan line y14 supplied with image data having the same polarity with the scan line y12 to write the image data to sub-pixels connected to the scan line y12 and also perform preliminary writing to sub-pixels connected to the scan line y14 supplied with the preselect voltage by using the image data, thereby avoiding a writing deficiency. Even when sub-pixels 37W of W having luminance information have a writing deficiency, influence exerted on a display image is small, so preliminary writing is not performed as to a scan line y13 to which the sub-pixels 37W of W are connected to reduce the power consumption.
