PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reducing the amount of a developer remaining at the end of use in a developer storage container and capable of preventing the degradation of image quality caused by the moisture absorption of the developer.SOLUTION: A printer includes a toner container 30 and a control part. The toner container 30 includes a container body 31 and a movable wall 34. The movable wall 34 includes an outer peripheral part which is slidably arranged in close contact with the inner peripheral part of the container body 31 and a conveyance surface 340S which defines a storage space 31S for storing toner together with the inner peripheral part of the container body 31. The movable wall 34 is moved from an initial position to a final position, while conveying the toner toward a toner discharge port 319 in the container body 31. When an unused toner container 30 is attached to the printer, the control part moves the movable wall 34 from the initial position in a direction opposite to the toner discharge port 319 by a predetermined distance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
