PURPOSE: A remote LCD monitoring/controlling device is provided to enable an administrator to watch and control by providing a screen brightness detection signal and a screen photographing signal to a remote place. CONSTITUTION: An optical detector detects a screen brightness of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display)(30). An LCD monitoring/controlling unit(32) offers an inputted image and voice signal to the LCD and a voice output unit. The LCD monitoring/controlling unit offers a screen brightness and image signal detection signal to a remote monitoring controlling unit(42). The remote monitoring/controlling unit displays a screen brightness change of the LCD and an input of the image signal. The remote monitoring/controlling unit includes an infrared ray signal generating unit. The infrared ray signal generating unit generates an infrared ray signal corresponding to a signal for controlling an image input mode and volume offered from the remote monitoring/controlling unit.
