<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear image sensor capable of performing photography with high optical resolution and high sensitivity, without requiring a high-precision mechanical mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: The linear image sensor includes a red/blue diode array 211a constituted of photodiodes R1a, R3a, ..., for red light detection and photodiodes B2a, B4a, ..., for blue light detection, disposed alternately in array, similar red/blue diode arrays 221b and 211c, and green diode arrays 212a and 212b comprising photodiodes G1a, G2a, ..., and G1b, G2b, ..., for green light detection disposed in array. The green diode arrays 212a and 212b are disposed between the red/blue diode arrays 211a and 211b, and red/blue diode arrays 211b and 211c. Charge transfer channels 221a, 221b and 221c, and 222a and 222b constituting charge transmitting section for transmitting the signal charges detected are disposed close to the red/blue diode arrays 211a, 211b and 211c, and to the green diode arrays 212a and 212b, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
