<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for a hologram high density recording medium having high sensitivity for high speed recording, dry processing, facilitating manufacture and handling, consuming silver halide by a small amount, and preventing print-out; and to provide a hologram recording medium, a hologram recording method, and a hologram reproduction method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The composition for the hologram recording medium includes at least (A) a binder having a reactive group, (B) a crosslinking agent having a functional group reacted with the reactive group of the binder having the reactive group, (C) a polimerization compound having ethylene double coupling in a molecule, (D) silver halide, and (E) a reducing agent.
