PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a lithium metal cell precursor for manufacturing a lithium metal cell with safety; a lithium metal cell manufacturing method arranged by use of such lithium metal cell precursor; and a lithium metal cell obtained by such a manufacturing method.SOLUTION: A lithium metal cell precursor 1 comprises: a positive electrode current collector 7; a positive electrode active material layer 8 provided on the positive electrode current collector 7; a separator 3 provided on the positive electrode active material layer 8; and a negative electrode current collector 5 provided on the separator 3. In the lithium metal cell precursor, the positive electrode active material layer 8 includes a lithium compound; and an electrolyte 30 is present in the separator 3 and the positive electrode active material layer 8.
