Further, a rear surface of the light guide plate includes a stepped unevenness having first surfaces configured to reflect light toward the liquid crystal panel and second surfaces configured to reflect light toward the mirror, and a thickness of the light guide plate increases in a first direction from the first lateral side to the second lateral side such that the second lateral side of the light guide plate is thicker than the first lateral side of the light guide plate.
