PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arbitrarily adjust the torsional rigidity of a torsion part of a stabilizer device. SOLUTION: The torsion part 11 of the stabilizer device S is divided into first and second torsion parts 11A and 11B across a rigidity variable mechanism 13. The first torsion part 11A is coaxially provided with outer member 14 and inner member 15. When an engagement pin 20 of the rigidity variable mechanism 13 is retreated by a return spring 21 to release connection of the first and second torsion parts 11A and 11B, the torsional rigidity of the torsion part 11 becomes minimum (zero). When the engagement pin 20 is advanced by a piston 18 to connect only the outer member 14 of the first torsion part 11A to the second torsion part 11B, the torsional rigidity becomes a medium degree. When the engagement pin 20 is further advanced to connect both of the outer member 14 and the inner member 15 of the first torsion part 11A to the second torsion part 11B, the torsional rigidity is maximized.
