PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device that prevents a heat roller surface from being damaged and enables transfer paper to easily be removed when the transfer paper is entered into behind a separation claw in a bellows shape when transfer paper jamming in the fixing device occurs. SOLUTION: The fixing device includes: a heat roller 25 which fixes an image on the transfer paper S; a pressure roller 27 which presses the transfer paper against the heating roller 25 to thereby form a nip part 26; and a separating member 28 which is disposed closely to a surface of the heating roller 25 in a contactless manner so as to separate the transfer paper S after the fixation from the surface of the heating roller 25, the separating member 28 being disposed slidably so as to be displaced away from the surface of the heating roller 25 and rotatably after the slide displacement.
