<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED (light emitting diode) illumination which is used as illumination for reading a code and which can read the code of a substrate even when covered with the colored pixel or the colored resist layer of a color filter in the code reading method of the color filter equipped with a camera and the light source of illumination light for reading the code formed on the substrate for the color filter at the manufacturing process of the color filter for a liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: In the code reading method, an infrared LED of ≥700 nm wavelength is used as the light source of illumination light to be used when reading the code on the substrate. In this code reading method, the illumination light passes through the substrate, a resist for the color filter having a photosensitive wavelength region of 335 nm to 395 nm is insensitive thereto and the code can be read by imaging with a camera or viewing even when a code surface is covered with the resist for the color filter. In the code reading method of the color filter using the infrared LED, the same infrared LED is used for reading the code at the color filter manufacturing process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
