PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding device for successively repeating holding of a workpiece, release of the workpiece and a workpiece holding standby state, without using an air-driving or electric-driving actuator.SOLUTION: An arm orthogonal to a robot for carrying a workpiece, for example, a single shaft horizontal robot, is provided on a flange 33 for constituting a workpiece holding device 1, and is used by fixing the flange 33 to the tip of this arm. The workpiece holding device 1 surely holds the workpiece by vertically moving the flange 33 by the vertical movement of this arm, and carries the workpiece to the next process, and becomes a standby state for holding a next workpiece by releasing holding of the workpiece after carrying.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
