BASE STATION LOCATION SELECTING SYSTEM AND METHOD IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION NETWORK

PURPOSE: A system capable of selecting a suitable base station location in a mobile communication network by simultaneously measuring a continuous wave and a common frequency signal generated by a neighbor base station, is provided. CONSTITUTION: The base station location selecting system in a CDMA mobile communication system comprising: a plurality of continuous wave generators for generating continuous waves as predetermined output powers, the continuous waves having different frequencies; a continuous wave receiver for receiving the continuous waves having different frequencies from the plurality of continuous wave generators, measuring RSSI values of the continuous waves and receiving GPS information; and a computer(50) for receiving the RSSI values of the continuous waves and GPS information from the continuous wave receiver and measuring Ec/Io of a predetermined position.
