PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress images printed on a printing medium from being deteriorated due to abnormality in a printing section. SOLUTION: In a flushing operation of a printing head 11, a flushing image 50 is printed on a paper 2 by ink ejected from every ejection nozzle 15. When the flushing image 50 is read by a read head 6a, and after confirmation that no generation of clogging has been occurred in every ejection nozzle 15, the print operation for an image 60 starts based on a print signal. While, when at least one of the ejection nozzles 15 is clogged, printing is stopped for performing cleaning of the print head 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
