Disclosed in the present invention are a network-element-simulator-based testing method and device. The method comprises: defining a DSL syntax dedicated to a network element simulator and a DSL syntax parser parsing the DSL syntax in an abstraction level of an operation process of the network element simulator; expressing the defined DSL syntax according to a service process of a network element to be simulated to acquire the network element simulator having a corresponding simulated functional module; parsing, by the DSL syntax parser, the DSL syntax, to realize each module function simulation of the network element to be simulated, resulting in forming the operational network element simulator; and testing, by the operational network element simulator, a network management system to be tested. |
