PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a seedling-transplanting posture and a transplanting interval from being out of order. SOLUTION: The transplanter 1 is constituted so that a potted seedling N conveyed in a horizontal posture by being put on a conveyor belt 10 may be transplanted after changing the posture to a vertical posture in which the bed soil part Na is directed downward at the vicinity of the end terminal of the conveyor belt 10. The transplanter 1 also has a seedling guide member 13 for pushing the leaf tip side of a stem and leaf part Nb so as to prevent the leaf tip side of the stem leaf part Nb of the potted seedling N from spring upward above the conveyor belt 10 during posture change.
