PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double pipe type internal heat exchanger capable of ensuring sufficient length necessary for proper heat exchange even if an evaporator and an expansion valve are disposed extremely close to a partition wall. SOLUTION: A first double pipe 11 constituted by arranging an inner pipe 11a connected to an inlet of an expansion valve 2 so as to be surrounded by an outer pipe 11b connected to an outlet of an evaporator 3 is disposed between the evaporator 3 and the expansion valve 2 and a partition wall 1. A second double pipe 12 constituted by arranging an inner pipe 12a so as to be surrounded by an outer pipe 12b is provided in an engine room in an extending manner of the first double pipe 11. An inner heat exchanger 10 is formed by connecting the first double pipe 11 and the second double pipe 12 by a pipe locking member 15 so that a connection part of the first and second double pipes is not disconnected at the partition wall 1.
