PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor that prevents burnout thereof in a low-temperature operation.SOLUTION: An electric motor includes: a plurality of brushes 42 that supply power to an armature; a thermistor 61 that restricts power supply to the armature at the time of overheating; and a brush holder unit 6 that is mounted to an end of the armature and holds the brushes 42 and the thermistor 61. A resistor 66 for heating the thermistor 61 is connected in series with the thermistor 61. |
